Roles & Permissions
| Role | What this role can do | Important notes |
|---|---|---|
| Administrator | Edit family settings, transfer admin rights, remove joined members, delete pending member cards, and manage invitations. | The administrator cannot leave the family directly before transferring admin rights first. |
| Member | View the family tree, edit or add members when family settings allow it, and publish stories or life content. | Can only leave the family through their own member card. |
| Pending member card | Can be invited through the generated invitation link. | It is not bound to an account yet, so the administrator can still delete this card. |
Family Tree
The family tree is the core module of the product. Most operations are completed in the member action dialog after clicking a family member node.
Node status
- Member cards that are not bound to an account display "Click to Invite".
- If a member is already bound to an account, the "Invite" button in the dialog is disabled.
- After using "Kick Out" or "Leave Family", the binding is removed and the member can be invited again.
Member action buttons
| Button | Meaning | Who can use it |

FAQ
Why can I not invite some members?
Because that member is already bound to an account, the "Invite" action is intentionally disabled.
Why can the administrator not leave the family?
The administrator must transfer admin rights first, and only then can leave through their own member card.
Why did my invitation not take effect?
The invitation link only takes effect after the user signs in or registers and successfully accepts the invitation.
